Participation in the celebration of 27 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association at the national theater “Ivan Vazov”, Sofia.
Today BICA is the largest employer organization in the country and unites over 10,000 enterprises with more than 500,000 workers and employees and more than 100 branch organizations.
Meeting with European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Iliana Ivanova on topics related to the building of regional innovation valleys under the New European Innovation Agenda, which started in 2022.
The European Commissioner noted that such meetings at the regional level are extremely important for her.
She emphasized that the Regional Innovation Valleys envisage interaction between business, education and research organizations.
It is appropriate to remind that on 10.10.2023 the “Valley for Deep Tech Innovations – Plovdiv” Association achieved success in the preliminary procedure and the South Central region of the Republic of Bulgaria was included on the European Matchmaking map of regions which expressed interest in building a regional innovation valley and creating partnerships with other valleys.
